What Size Mattress Fits In A Dutchmen RV

This guide will explore some of SleepDog®’s favorite Dutchmen RVs and show you how you can add your favorite SleepDog® RV mattress for the best sleep on the go.

Astoria (Fifth Wheel)

Astoria fifth wheels are timeless but modern, giving you both comfort and style on the road.

• Length: 29’ 11” - 42' 5", depending on floor plan
• Height: 12’ 5” - 12' 11", depending on floor plan
• Sleep Capacity: The sleep capacity in the Astoria RVs can vary from 2-10 based on the floor plan.

Mattress Size: Depending on if you are traveling in an Astoria Fifth Wheel or a Travel Trailer, your camper could be outfitted with either a standard queen size or standard king size mattress. The SleepDog® RV mattress or BigDawg Mattress™ are currently our only two mattress models offered in a standard queen size, but both are great options for Astoria floor plans that accommodate this mattress size. Before upgrading your mattress, we do recommend measuring your current RV mattress to ensure the correct size.

Colorado (Travel Trailer)

Colorado Travel Trailers are both comfortable and lightweight, but durable enough to accommodate smaller tow vehicles.

• Length: 23’ 5” - 34’ 6”, depending on floor plan
• Height: 9’ 11” - 11' 3", depending on floor plan
• Sleep Capacity: 3-10, depending on floor plan

Mattress Size: The Colorado is offered in 7 different floor plans, 6 of which are outfitted with a standard residential queen size mattress. Our SleepDog® Mattress and BigDawg Mattress™ models are available in the queen size, making them the perfect mattress upgrade option for these 6 Colorado floor plans.

Kodiak Cub (Travel Trailer)

Kodiak RVs are extremely lightweight. These units are light enough to be towed by most large vehicles with towing capacity.

• Length: 21’ 5” - 23’ 11”, depending on floor plan
• Height: 10’ 5”
• Sleep Capacity: 2-8, depending on floor plan

Mattress Size: All floorplants of the Kodiak Cub, the Kodiak Ultra-Lite and the Kodiak SE come furnished with a standard queen size mattress. The Kodiak Ultimate floor plans are furnished with a standard king size mattress in the primary sleeping space. While SleepDog® does not currently offer a standard king size mattress, our sister company BedInABox® does currently offer 7 different mattress models in the standard king size option.
