The biggest difference between the SleepDog® RV King mattress and a standard king-sized mattress is the dimensions. RV king mattresses, measuring 72“ wide by 75” long, were developed for slightly larger camper and RV floor plans. The RV King measures just 5” shorter than a standard king while maintaining the width of a California King. The RV king is often a great upgrade for the following RVs:

The medium-soft feel provides extra comfort and emulates the “hugging” sensation of memory foam for a deeper, calmer sleep. The SleepDog® Mattress and BigDawg Mattress™ are also available in RV King sizes. The 7” SleepDog® Mattress is medium-firm; the double-sided BigDawg Mattress™ can be flipped for soft or firm support.
At SleepDog®, all of our mattresses are made with memory foam that is poured in the United States in our own facilities. However, every mattress features a different combination of our foams. The Original RV Mattress uses a layer of CoolRest® Gel memory foam and a layer of SureAlign® high-density support foam. The Azul® RV mattress uses a combination of CoolRest® Gel memory foam, Pluralux® foam, and SureAlign® high-density support foam. The RV King SleepDog® Mattress and the BigDawg Mattress™ are also made of the CoolRest® Gel memory foam and SureAlign® high-density support foam. However, the BigDawg Mattress™ features a 2” quilted foam mattress cover for the soft side of the double-sided mattress.
