Best Rest Stops In Massachusetts

Best Rest Stops In Massachusetts

When planning for a long haul or a road trip, we always suggest scouting out rest stops before you hit the road. If your trip has you passing through Massachusetts, mapping out your rest stops will make it clear that Massachusetts has significantly fewer rest stops than some larger, more heavily trafficked states. However, the rest areas in Massachusetts are still designed to provide travelers with a safe and convenient facility to stretch, rest or even sleep if needed. Massachusetts rest areas may not always boast large or elaborate facilities, but at a minimum, most are maintained by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and all provide a safe place to park. This guide highlights a few of the best rest stops throughout the state of Massachusetts.
