Colorado Rest Stops
Colorado is a beautiful state, with impressive mountains and scenic views all around. Colorado has 26 scenic byways with 13 of them being designated as “America’s Byways.” These 26 byways are not only beautiful, but they are also historic. They connect different significant sites and spectacular scenery across the state. If you are looking to enjoy everything from canyons, to mountains, to prairies while you are on the road, Colorado is for you. The state of Colorado and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) fund and maintain all of the highways in the state. They also fund and maintain many of the rest stops throughout the state. We know that it can be hard to find a rest stop when you need one, especially one that is accommodating to trucks and RVs, so that is why we put together this guide of the best rest areas in Colorado. Keep reading for some of the most notable rest stops in the Centennial State.
