List of RVs with the Most Sleeping Space
Getting good quality sleep while you are on the road is just as important as getting good quality sleep at home. There are many factors to take into consideration when choosing an RV, and the amount of sleeping space should be at the top of your list. RVs and campers come in a variety of sizes and floorplans, so we listed nine RVs that have some of the most sleeping space below.
Forest River FR3 30DS
Measuring 31' 8" in length, the Forest River does not lack in sleep space. While it does fall on the smaller end of the Class A RV categorization, this RV has luxurious living features including a washer/dryer and a large refrigerator. As far as sleeping accommodations are concerned, the Forest River is outfitted with a standard king size mattress, a 68” sofa bed, and a banquette/bed combo. The Forest River FR3 has slide outs, allowing it to maintain a relatively open floor plan while parked, while also providing plenty of sleeping space. This RV can comfortably sleep up to six people and is a great option for families.

The Thor Vegas is also equipped with RapidCamp+, which allows you to set up your RV systems from your phone. Even when you are off the grid, with RapidCamp+ you will be able to use your phone to turn lights on and off, auto-start the generator, and more. Despite its rugged nature, the Thor Vegas still retains a luxurious feel with a sleek and modern interior. This RV can sleep up to six people, features an RV queen size mattress in the primary bedroom and is perfect for families who want to travel outside of a standard RV park.
The Newmar Ventana is a great option if you're looking for a sleek RV that has all the comforts of a home away from home. Thor A.C.E. 30.2
Thor Motorcoach developed the A.C.E. 30.2 in order to create an easily maneuverable motorhome. Because of its compact size, this motorhome can more easily maneuver tight and windy roads that larger RVs cannot. However, the A.C.E 30.2 size does not mean less sleeping space. This motorhome is available in four different floor plans, all built to focus on family comfort. Every floor plan comes equipped with a sofa-bed, convertible dinette, a drop-down bunk, and an RV king size mattress in the primary suite. One A.C.E. 30.2 floor plan also includes additional bunk beds for sleeping. The Thor A.C.E is one of the more affordable RVs on this list and can actually sleep up to eight people comfortably. This is a great option for larger families on a tighter RV budget.
Tiffin Open Road Allegro
The Tiffin Open Road Allegro is one of the larger RVs on our list, measuring up to 38’ in length. Available in 5 different floor plans, this RV is also built with a full wall slide-out that will feature a dinette and a flip and fold sofa bed. This RV provides enough space to spread out day and night. Comfortably accommodating up to eight people, the Tiffin Open Road Allegro features a standard king size bed or standard queen bed, the aforementioned sofa bed, and an optional dropdown front bunk. Being that the primary sleeping space comes stocked with a standard queen mattress, the SleepDog® standard queen mattress makes for the perfect upgrade down the road. Jayco produces some of the best-selling RVs on the market and can sleep up to eight people depending on which Alante model your family travels in. While there are many more RV models, campers and travel trailers available to maximize your comfort and sleep space on the road, the nine RV models in this guide simply provide some of the largest sleep spaces on the RV market. While RVs and motorhomes are vehicles of luxury, keep in mind that not all RV mattresses are designed with the same amount of luxury in mind. Most RV mattresses are constructed with lower quality materials, meaning, they will not last the lifetime of your home away from home. If you need a new mattress for your RV, then SleepDog® mattress should be the first place you look. SleepDog® mattresses are designed and constructed with the highest quality American-made materials, to provide sleep that is just as luxurious as your motorhome.
